Expenz ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Expenz app.
1. Information We Collect
Expenz is designed to work locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit your personal data to any servers. The only data stored is what you enter in the app, such as expenses, custom categories, notes, and budget limits.
2. Data Usage
Your data is used solely to provide the functionality of the app: calculating totals, displaying charts, and handling CSV exports. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
3. Pro Features
If you choose to upgrade to Expenz Pro, any purchase information is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not store or have access to your payment information.
4. Data Sharing & Security
Expenz does not share your data with third parties. Any export is controlled entirely by you. Your data is protected by your device's security features.
5. Children
Expenz is suitable for all ages. We do not collect or transmit any personal information from children, giving parents full control.
Terms of Use
By using Expenz, you agree to the following terms. Expenz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Usage License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal financial tracking.
Pro Subscriptions
Pro features are billed via your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your iTunes settings 24 hours before the period ends.
Data Responsibility
Since Expenz stores data locally, we are not responsible for data loss due to device damage or app deletion. We recommend using iCloud backups.
